In your sessions with Brian, you will learn a range of approaches to composition and arranging, develop your creative pathways and set solid milestones for your project.

You will learn instrumentation, creating sound landscapes, work with density and texture, identify compositional issues and problems uncover how an arrangement is related to what you’re trying to communicate and express with your work. Concepts and techniques covered include chord progression options, harmonisation, vocal/ensemble balance, elements are needed to carry the piece, balance of rhythmic momentum, lyrical content, chordal structure, sound spectrum balance, song structure, supporting lyrical content, backing vocals, what is enough/too much and directing the listeners’ ear.
